Pack Taverns' story
The Pack Taverns story began in 2015 when Charlie and Willow Crossley bought The Bull Inn, Charlbury. Their vision for the Bull was to create a pub with a true home away from home feeling. With their innate eye for design and for that which makes people feel at home, their vision was realised.
The Bull became a place where guests would straight away relax into a homely setting while being offered all the luxury and comfort of a hotel. You will find local and delicious food on the menu. The very creative interior and floral stylist, Willow, has designed all of the beautiful, quirky and elegant bedrooms. The fantastic Bull Inn is the result of the Crossley’s innovation and creation.
So successful was this blend that Charlie and Willow started their second project in 2017. Once again the offering was to be comfort and good food within a fun yet elegant setting. Upon finding The Swan Inn Hotel, Ascott-under-Wychwood, The Bull gained a sister pub. In the early months of 2017, The Swan was lovingly restored to its former glory. The property you see today stays true to Charlie and Willow’s original promise of creating a home away from home experience.
The Swan's story

You will not only find Willow’s signature style of relaxed yet elegant spaces, but you will also be served lovingly prepared food in a comfy and relaxed setting. What is particularly special about The Swan Inn Hotel is Willow’s collaboration with seven interior designers.
